Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all visitors attending Ashwell Show ("the Show") held at Elbrook Meadow, Ashwell, Hertfordshire, SG7 5NE. By purchasing a ticket or entering the showground, you agree to be bound by these terms.

The Show is organised by Ashwell Show Committee, a voluntary organisation. We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time.

2. Tickets & Admission

• All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the Show is cancelled.
• Children under 5 are admitted free of charge and do not require a ticket.
• Proof of age may be requested for concession ticket holders.
• Tickets purchased online must be presented (digital or printed) at the gate for scanning.
• The Show Committee reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the showground.

3. Cancellation & Postponement

In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to severe weather, public health emergencies, or force majeure events), the Show Committee will endeavour to offer ticket holders an alternative date or a refund. We cannot be held liable for any associated costs such as travel or accommodation.

4. On-Site Rules

• The Show operates between 9am and 5:00pm. Gates will close promptly.
• Visitors are responsible for their own safety and that of their children at all times.
• Dogs are welcome on leads but must be kept under control at all times. Please clean up after your dog.
• No glass bottles, illegal substances, or weapons of any kind are permitted on site.
• Visitors must follow the instructions of Show staff and stewards at all times.
• Alcohol may only be purchased from licensed vendors on site. Please drink responsibly.
• Any behaviour deemed disruptive, aggressive, or unsafe may result in removal from the showground without refund.

5. Photography & Filming

Visitors may photograph and film for personal, non-commercial use. By entering the showground, you consent to being photographed or filmed as part of crowd footage used by Ashwell Show for promotional purposes. Press and commercial photographers must obtain accreditation in advance by contacting us at [email protected].

6. Parking

Free parking is available on site. Visitors park at their own risk. The Show Committee accepts no liability for loss or damage to vehicles or their contents.

7. Liability

Ashwell Show Committee will not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained by visitors, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Visitors attend at their own risk and are advised to ensure they have appropriate personal insurance.

8. Privacy

Personal data collected when purchasing tickets or contacting us is held in accordance with applicable data protection law and used solely for the purposes of administering the Show and communicating with you about it. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
